You may be talking to the wrong person. A successful network marketer says that everyone he meets is like an oyster. He will always open them up and see if there is a pearl in it. If there is none, he will always put it aside and go on to the next one. Are you spending too much time with a prospect that has no pearl in him?

Things Change Every 100 days

If a prospect says no to you today, it does NOT mean that he is going to say no forever. It is all about TIMING. If he says no to you, tell yourself that he is just telling you that "now" is not the right time. It is vital that you keep the possibility open and you should never get upset and slam the door shut permanently. Contact him again says every 100 days.

If you're promoting online business opportunity, i will highly recommended you to have an auto responder. Ask him to subscribe to your auto responder and send an e-mail periodically say every 3 days. I did it for myself. You can google "auto responder" for details.

Treat This Business Like a BUSINESS

Too many people treat this business like a deal or a scheme. They want to go in for a quick buck and then go for another deal. It make you some money but you might run out of friends pretty soon and you will certainly lose your credibility. The faster you realize that this should be treated seriously like any other business the better will be the outcome.

Ask people about their dream. The song from musical South Pasific says, "If you ain't got a dream - how are you gonna make a dream come true?"

Ceil Rhodes, one of the most successful businessman of the last century, met people who came out to Rhodesia looking for opportunity with the question, "What's your dream?" If they had none, he didn't hire them.

Asking people about their dreams show that you care. It also gives you more avenues to help them and bond with them.

Have you read this book? WHo Moved My Cheese? by Dr Spencer Johnson.

I remember read this book sometime in year 2000 when i'm still working in a telco company. One of my best friend give it to me. It really open my eye, my mind about change in my life.

Who Moved My Cheese? is a story about change that takes place in a Maze where four amusing characters look for "Cheese" - cheese being a metaphor for what we want to have in life, whether it is a job, a relationship, spiritual peace, or even an activity like jogging or golf.

Each of us has our own idea of what Cheese is,and we pursue it because we believe it make us happy. If we get it, we often become attached to it. And if we lose it, or it's taken away, it can traumatic.

Note: What written in this book really happened to me. I quit the job and leaving the corporate ladder and start my own dream.
